One Of Factors For Black Tea Sourness: Tea Drying

2022-03-05 13:53:27

The final process of making black tea is drying. Drying is to release the excess moisture inside the tea leaves to ensure the final quality of the tea leaves. One thing that needs to be paid attention to when drying is not to make the drying temperature too low.

If the leaves of the black tea are always in a low temperature state during the black tea drying process, it is difficult for the excess moisture inside the tea leaves to be dried, and the tea leaves are also difficult to dry thoroughly.

The water content of black tea that is not fully baked is not up to the standard, and the black tea will continue to ferment in such a state, which will eventually cause the tea leaves to over-ferment and produce a sour taste. The black tea with water content up to the standard is dry to the touch, and the aroma of the tea leaves is dry and clean, and there will be no miscellaneous or peculiar smells. Using Deli brand black tea drying machine, set the drying time and temperature of the dryer according to the water content in the tea leaves after fermentation, and the black tea drying machine can work. Turn on the black tea drying machine again, and the finished black tea has been completed.

The black tea dryer adopts the hot air drying method, and the air supply is uniform, and the drying degree of the tea leaves around and the tea leaves in the middle is the same. Reasonably setting the drying time and temperature according to the actual situation of the tea leaves can completely dry the black tea and reduce the sour taste of the black tea.
