Generally speaking, ripe tea with normal fermentation is easier to taste after being stored for two to three years. If it is slightly fermented, it will take three years or more for the taste to come out. If the fermentation is too heavy, the opposite is true. Regarding the grade of materials used, the higher the grade, the less conducive to the later transformation. On the contrary, the lower grade of Pu'er tea has better transformation in the later stage.

Set up a clean, odorless, dark, and relatively dry place at home, such as a study room, prepare a purple clay pot or clay pot, clean it and dry it, and then put some tea or charcoal to remove the odor. After drying, put the tea in Put it into the tank (with tissue paper) and cover it, place it on the 2nd floor of the bookshelf, away from the ground and the wall, and then check it every once in a while.

1. Temperature

The temperature of the Pu'er tea storage environment is generally between 20-30°C. Too high or too low temperature is not good for the aging of Pu'er tea; at the same time, avoid air conditioning and internal light from changing the quality of Pu'er tea.

2. Humidity

The relative humidity is maintained between 65% and 75%. Too high or too low humidity is also not conducive to the aging of Pu'er tea. When the climate is dry, Pu'er tea (especially raw tea) will enter a dormant state, which is not good for aging. , You can use a humidifier to properly increase the air humidity or often wipe the floor with a wet towel, which can both humidify and clean the floor.
