How To Process Black Tea?

Black tea is made from suitable fresh buds and leaves of tea trees as raw materials, and is made through a series of processes such as withering, rolling (cutting), fermentation, and drying, among which fermentation is the key process of black tea processing. The essence of black tea fermentation is a chemical reaction centered on the enzymatic oxidation of tea polyphenols. Tea polyphenols (including EGCG, EGC, ECG, EC, etc.) are oxidatively polymerized to produce new components such as theaflavins and thearubigins. Substances were significantly increased compared to fresh leaves. Therefore, black tea has the characteristics of red leaves and red soup, sweet and mellow.

The black tea fermentation machine produced by our company imitates the principle of black tea fermentation, increases the humidity and temperature of the tea, and ferments the black tea within a reasonably controlled time.
