One Of Factors For Black Tea Sourness: Withering

2022-02-18 15:38:47

Tea withering is the first step in the production of black tea, this process is to allow the moisture contained in the tea to evaporate. After the fresh leaves of black tea are picked, they need to be aired in time, so that the tea leaves start to lose water continuously. During this period, the inside of the tea leaves is constantly undergoing wonderful reactions.

When black tea withering, it is necessary to strictly control the length of time for fresh leaves to lose water. Too fast or too slow will have an irreversible impact on the quality of black tea.

And also strictly control the thickness of the tea spread. Black tea withering pays attention to thin stalls, and thin stalls can limit the tea leaves in a sultry environment, so as to prevent the fresh leaves of tea from being suffocated, resulting in a green and sour taste.

Therefore, moderate withering is very important.

Currently our company provides two types of equipment for black tea withering.

The first is natural withering through a tea withering tray. The withering plate is made of natural top layer bamboo skin, which is pure natural and pollution-free. If your processing is a small-scale processing, then put 2.5kg of fresh leaves on each green plate, and at the same time have a well-ventilated environment and the temperature is suitable, you can naturally wither for a long time.

Second, we offer electrically heated withering equipment. Compared with naturally withered tea leaves, the withering speed of the tea withering machine is faster, and the withering environment is not affected by the natural environment. It is especially suitable for tea processing in medium and large tea factories. Speed up the withering speed of black tea and reduce the loss of fresh leaves caused by untimely withering.
